On March 28, the meeting of the Committee on Industrial Policy, Transport, Fuel and Energy Complex of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea took place at “Beer & Soft Drinks Plant “Krym”.
The following issues were put on the agenda:
- The results of economic activity and the modernization of production facilities of “Beer & Soft Drinks Plant “Krym” for the period 2014-2019.
- Amendments to the State Program of the Republic of Crimea “Development of the Transport Complex of the Republic of Crimea”.
Aleksey Khmelnitsky, the General Director of “Beer & Soft Drinks Plant “Krym”, in his speech emphasized achievements and production records, a steady increase in the number of job sites and an increase in the average wage of employees over the past 5 years of the enterprise operation. It was also noted that, thanks to investments in the development and modernization of production, since the beginning of 2015, a large-scale reconstruction of a number of workshops had been carried out and the following had been launched:
- line for filling products in PET packaging;
- line for loading products in Kegs;
- line for loading products into an aluminum can.
According to the General Director of the company, the investments made allow “Beer & Soft Drinks Plant “Krym” to maintain its position in the beer market and be competitive along with multinational companies, remaining faithful to the long-standing traditions of classical brewing.
Edip Gafarov, the Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, thanked the employees of the enterprise and the management for many years of work and contribution to the food industry of the republic, also said that the State Council of the Republic of Crimea was ready to assist in the development of economic activity and the modernization of production facilities of “Beer & Soft Drinks Plant “Krym”. In honor of the 5th anniversary of the Crimean Spring, he invited members of the Committee to plant trees in the park of the enterprise. Also during the meeting, Edip Gafarov handed the honorary award of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea to the General Director of “Beer & Soft Drinks Plant “Krym”.
Petr Petrovich Zaporozhets, the Chairman of the Committee, called the Plant “Krym” the example of how to get out of difficult situations in the face of changes in the market. He has noted that “Beer & Soft Drinks Plant “Krym” is currently the largest taxpayer in the Republic and was able to get the “Star of Russian Quality” with high competition.
At the end of the meeting, members of the Committee visited the plant’s park and took part in the joint tree planting. Aleksey Khmelnitsky said that this park had been completely planted by the employees of the enterprise. Petr Petrovich confirmed his words, noting that back in 1983 at this place he remembers the “desert”, and now it is a comfortable and pleasant place for walking.
